We remain committed to the safety and well-being of our patients and staff members. Therefore, due to COVID-19, we have health and safety measures in place for our patients who are coming to the clinic for in-person services. We are requesting all parents and children over 3 years of age wear a face mask to the clinic. We are constantly cleaning and sanitizing our facility and equipment between sessions and at the end of the day.
We know that you are all being extra careful about safety, hygiene and following guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and various other governmental agencies. In accordance with these agencies, we are sharing some information with you. From the CDC website:
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. If you have had close contact (15 minutes within 6 feet) with someone with COVID-19, quarantine yourself at home or another residence until 14 days from the last date you were in close contact with the person. Do not leave your place of quarantine except to get necessary medical care or other basic needs like obtaining food or medicine. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
By bringing your child to therapy at our facility, you acknowledge your child does not have any of the above symptoms, nor has your child been exposed to a known person with a COVID-19 positive test or symptoms of COVID-19.
We are all in this together and trust that you are aware of these guidelines. Please contact us with any questions.
